Gold and Stardust pre-taped promo
Goldust talked about The New Day shining bright after their win, and Stardust said they’d knock them down one by one.
The New Day vs. Gold and Stardust
This time, Big E teamed with Xavier Woods, while Kofi Kingston sat-in on commentary.
Big E and Woods were on fire early, but the sweaty mess that is Big E eventually found himself in trouble.
This match lost all its steam as Big E took a beating. The crowd had two loud chants of “CM Punk” (which hadn’t been chanted that loud in months), then the chant we all saw coming, but didn’t know when, “NXT.”
Eventually, Midnight Hour got the win for The New Day, who were forced to stay in the ring for way too long.
The New Day defeat Gold and Stardust via pinfall.
1.5 out of 5 stars – This match was way too long. It was shocking how long they thought this match needed to be.
Get it together, WWE. Seriously.
The Miz and Damien Mizdow w/ Renee Young
Miz said that Jimmy Uso’s anger and jealously towards Miz are why he is no longer WWE Tag Team Champion.
Miz said that in order for Jimmy to have any shot at getting on the red carpet, he’d have to accompany his wife, whose career he’s already killing with his actions.
He said the credits will roll tonight on Jimmy.
This was a really good promo from Miz, whose great performance is going completely unnoticed amidst all the Mizdow hoopla.
