Paul Heyman and Chris Jericho promo
Heyman said he knows that people expect him to have a bunch of tricks, but he doesn’t. He said he could come up with some funny things to say, but he doesn’t find it funny.
Heyman said he doesn’t understand why Jericho would want to fight him, since he gave him big break. He offered to pay Jericho the $200 he owes him, but Jericho said he doesn’t want the money.
Jericho then checked the vote, revealing that him and Heyman would have a Street Fight.
Heyman, practically in tears, said he didn’t understand why Jericho wanted this, but his demeanor changed, and he said he didn’t understand why Jericho wanted to fight Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar came down, but Jericho didn’t budge an inch. Lesnar got in Jericho’s face, and Jericho struck first. Jericho’s forearms bounced off Lesnar, so Lesnar bounced Jericho off the ropes. Jericho went for a Codebreaker, but Lesnar countered and picked Jericho up for an F-5.
This was an awesome segment. Jericho and Heyman are unbelievable. Even though Lesnar’s return was expected, it still connected really big, and the “brawl” was executed perfectly.
It’s a shame that WWE only wants to try sometimes.
