Becky Lynch w/ Devin Taylor
Taylor asked about Lynch’s recent change of attitude.
Lynch said her attitude hasn’t changed, she just opened her eyes. She said that the only person she can trust, besides herself, is Sasha Banks.
She said she hopes that Bayley’s eyes are wide-open too, so that she has a good look at Lynch, as she permanently ends her career.
This is the first time we’ve really heard Lynch speak, and it was absolutely fantastic.
Tyler Breeze backstage
Breeze said he will be away from NXT for a while, as he does a little modeling. He said he will keep NXT updated on what’s going on with him.
Not sure exactly what the reason for this is. Hopefully, Breeze isn’t injured. If Breeze is going to be taking a bit of a step back, it wouldn’t be the worst thing to see him step away and readjust. With the recent influx of talent, it would be easy to see Breeze get lost in the shuffle, and this might be a better way for him to go.
Bayley vs. Becky Lynch
Bayley was pretty dominant, and she got a lot of offense in on Lynch. Lynch tried to work into the match, but couldn’t get anything going.
Lynch got Bayley down, and she was able to lock in her Four-Leg Clover.
Lynch defeats Bayley via submission.
2.5 out of 5 stars – In a weird twist, the babyface was dominant, while the heel pulled out a desperate win. The finish did make sense though, as Bayley was forced to tap out to the submission hold, due to her knee injury.
Charlotte w/ Renee Young
This was taped last week, right after the NXT Women’s Championship Match at TakeOver.
Charlotte talked about the great week she had, with her defending the title against Sasha Banks, and making her Raw debut.
She said that Banks is tough, and that she is the Boss of NXT, but she said that NXT is Charlotte’s throne.
Solid promo from Charlotte, who’s constantly getting better in every single aspect.
The Vaudevillains and William Regal backstage
The Vaudevillains brought Regal tape of their NXT Tag Team Championship Match from TakeOver, which revealed that Simon Gotch was not the legal man when he was pinned.
Regal admitted that the referee made a mistake, and gave them another title shot.
This segment was pretty funny. The Vaudevillains have shown themselves to be very good entertainers, and Regal is certainly no slouch in that department.
