Adrian Neville vs. Kevin Owens
Owens rolled to the outside multiple times in the early going. Once, he did it before the action even started, then, he took a couple of breaks when Neville got some early offense.
Eventually, Owens got the better of Neville, who didn’t feel like waiting around anymore, and Owens took advantage.
Owens picked Neville apart, as he said nothing makes him shameful, and called Neville’s title run a “joke.”
Neville got himself back into it, and he had Owens set up for a Red Arrow, but Owens got up and wrapped up Neville, so that he could not climb the ropes.
Owens hit a sick DDT on Neville, but Neville kept himself in it, and knocked Owens to the outside. Neville followed-up with a dive to the outside onto Owens, then had trouble picking him back up. As Neville fought to get Owens back in the ring, Owens grabbed him and was able to throw him face-first into the ring post, which resulted in the match ending in a double-countout.
Match ends in a double-countout.
3.5 out of 5 stars – The non-finish hurt the match, but it was still really good.
After the match, Owens hit the apron powerbomb on Neville, resulting in Neville making the same stretcher exit that Sami Zayn did last week.
