Hulk Hogan, John Cena and Seth Rollins promo
Hogan came out dressed as Santa Claus, calling himself “Ho Ho Hogan”. Hogan hyped all the matches for tonight, and he played it up a bit, even for Hogan. He was ready to wrap it up, until Cena’s music hit.
Cena came out and said he’s been good this year, and that he really wanted a Frozen Sing-Along set, until his Steel Cage Match with Rollins, last week on Raw. He said he wants a match with Rollins tonight, and that he doesn’t care what outside interferences he has to deal with.
Rollins said Cena’s wishes were ridiculous, but he probably can’t see what’s in front of him, after Rollins Curb Stomped his face into the mat. Rollins said he didn’t come to disrespect Cena or Hogan, because they are legends, but Rollins told Cena that his time is up, and Rollins’ time is now. Rollins said he wants Hogan to grant his wish, which is for Cena to do the right thing and bring The Authority back.
Cena said he’s never bringing The Authority back, and that Rollins has two options: run away like he always does, or man up and come down to the ring.
Hogan, and his match-making abilities, decided that Cena and Rollins would have the first match of the night.
This was an okay promo. Hogan wasn’t as bad as I thought he would be, and Cena did a little too much comedy, but it’s Raw Christmas so that’s okay. Rollins was the biggest issue here, he went a little bit too long.
