Big Show pre-taped promo

Show started off doing a rendition of “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas,” but opted out of it. He said he doesn’t have a stocking stuffer for Reigns, he has a “face stuffer,” and he held up his fist.

Roman Reigns pre-taped promo

Reigns said the holidays are about giving, and that he’s going to give Show everything he has.

Big Show vs. Roman Reigns

Show controlled the early going, but Reigns got himself back into it with the flying clothesline and Samoan Drop.

Show fell to ringside, and Reigns hit him with a Superman Punch, sending him flying over the announce table, resulting in a countout.

Reigns defeats Show via countout.

Between the match and the pre-taped promo, this segment showed a remarkable lack of belief in Reigns. The promo showed that he either wasn’t worth the time for a live mic, or that they didn’t think he’d do a good job with it.

The match only saw a countout win, protecting Show way too much, and not giving enough to the man who’s supposed to be the next “guy.” Show is totally expendable in Reigns’ path to the top, which presumably will go through the main event of WrestleMania.

Dean Ambrose w/ Renee Young

Ambrose said he went to The Mall of America looking for Santa, but all he found was a security guard with a white beard. He told said security guard that he wanted Bray Wyatt for Christmas. He said that Wyatt gets a beating, every time a bell rings.

This reminded me of two things: 1. How funny Ambrose is. 2. How much I want Renee for Christmas.
