WrestleMania season is officially here. If you didn’t see this WM rumor and that WM rumor, go check them out now before you continue reading.
For months, the assumption has been that Roman Reigns is going to win the 2015 Royal Rumble and main event WrestleMania 31 with Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, according to the Wrestling Observer, that plan may be changing by having someone like Dolph Ziggler or Dean Ambrose win the Rumble because Reigns simply isn’t ready yet. It’s a move that I certainly didn’t think would happen. WWE seemed all in on Reigns as the next “guy” immediately.
This change leaves endless questions for the main event of WrestleMania 31. Could this mean Lesnar drops the title at Royal Rumble and not appear in the WM main event after all? Where does this leave Seth Rollins and his Money in the Bank briefcase? These are just two of the questions that could be asked. The ideal way of answering all of these, however, is for a fatal 4-way for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event.
