Hulk Hogan, Seth Rollins, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show and Roman Reigns promo

“Well, let me tell you something, brother.”

Hogan announced that he was running SmackDown for the night, before talking about some of his great moments on SmackDown, like celebrating with Daniel Bryan, just days after Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX. However, he was interrupted by Rollins.

Rollins talked about how great Hogan is. He shook Hogan’s hand and said that people might start calling Hogan, “The Seth Rollins of the ’80s.” Rollins turned serious, thanking Hogan and telling him that he’s one of the big reasons that Rollins even got into wrestling.

Rollins turned again, saying that the ring belongs to him now, and that Hogan doesn’t belong in it. Hogan interrupted him and said that he has the power now, unlike The Authority, and that he’s running SmackDown, whether Rollins likes it or not, “brother.”

Rollins said that things have been falling apart since The Authority were ousted. He mockingly said that it was a smart decision to take two smart people, like Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, out of power, and replace them with a “carnival sideshow,” like Hogan.

He said Hogan is a legend and a Hall of Famer, but he has no business in Rollins’ business, and said that, as the future of WWE, this is, without a doubt, his business.

Rollins tried to get Hogan to endorse him as the future, and that maybe that would make Hogan come to the realization that he doesn’t belong. Hogan said he’s not sure if Rollins is the guy, and Rollins wanted to know who Hogan thinks is better, so Hogan brought Ziggler out.

Ziggler thanked Hogan, but said that Rollins is the future, just ask him. Ziggler said if Rollins is so sure that he’s the future, he should just leave and come back in 10 years.

Rollins said that the future is not a popularity contest, unfortunately for Ziggler, and that he’d be doing everybody a favor if he Curb Stomped Ziggler right now. Ziggler said that he’s been Curb Stomped before, but he always gets back up, then Show interrupted.

Show said that Rollins does a little too much talking and thinking, and that sometimes you have to just do things, and he was going to show him by knocking out Hogan, then knocking out Ziggler as a bonus, but as he got to the ring, Reigns’ music hit, and he came down to stand with Hogan and Ziggler.

Reigns told Show not to come through the ropes, because he would get punched in the mouth if he did. He added that he wouldn’t want to get hit in front of his wife and kids, meaning Rollins and J & J Security.

Hogan then made the main event: Ziggler and Reigns vs. Rollins and Show.

This was fun. It’s always cool to see guys like Rollins get significant mic time with legends like Hogan, even if the segment was a bit too long.
