Cesaro promo
When Raw returned from commercial, Cesaro was seated in the corner, and he had a microphone, with some things to get off his chest.
He said that 2014 should have been his year, because he won The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania, but that WWE decision-makers have decided that he doesn’t connect.
Cesaro said he doesn’t care about connecting with the WWE Universe, and he doesn’t care about all the pageantry, or big entrances. He said he cares about coming to the ring and constantly doing what he does, better than everybody else.
He dared somebody to prove him wrong, and he had a taker.
Bad News Barrett promo
“It’s me. It’s me. It’s B-N-B.”
He said that Cesaro may, or may not connect with the audience, but he knows one that will connect, and that’s his Bullhammer Elbow, to Cesaro’s bald head.
Cesaro vs. Bad News Barrett
Cesaro completely dominated the entire match, attacking the shoulder that kept Barrett out of action. Barrett found an opening and attacked Cesaro’s eyes, which left him open to a Bullhammer.
Barrett defeats Cesaro via pinfall.
2 out of 5 stars – That promo felt like a big moment, then the math happened. Barrett could have beaten anybody.
