Charlotte and Sasha Banks in-ring w/ Devin Taylor
Charlotte came out to the ring, and Devin asked her what is next, which the crowd responded to with “Blue Pants” chants. Charlotte got a little upset and said that nobody should be speaking when a “The Most Genetically Superior Diva in NXT is talking.”
Charlotte said that NXT is her home, and NXT is revolutionizing women’s wrestling.
Charlotte said that Banks is the toughest Diva she’s ever faced, but that she has beaten her twice. The crowd chanted “One More Match,” and Charlotte started to turn that idea down, but Banks’ music hit, and her and Becky Lynch came out.
Banks said Charlotte has beaten her twice, but that she was about to get the beat down of her life. As Banks and Lynch started to surround the ring, Natalya’s music hit and she joined Charlotte in the ring.
Banks and Lynch retreated up the ramp, but Banks said that it will happen “when we’re ready.” So, it seems an awesome Divas tag team match is in our future.
Charlotte started this off with an interesting heel moment, then kind of returned to being a babyface. With her ready to turn down a third match with Banks, I think Banks finds a way to beat her in that impending tag team match, leading to a third and final shot for Banks.
Sami Zayn cell phone video
Zayn said that William Regal asked him to send in a video, while he is home for the holidays and recovering.
Zayn said he didn’t know what to say, because he can’t even focus on his title win. He said that the guy whose name has been synonymous with his for their entire careers, and the guy he should’ve trusted the most, turned his back on him.
He said he didn’t know what to say, but that he’ll be back, and when he finds what he wants to say, he’ll say it personally.
Kevin Owens w/ Renee Young
Renee asked Owens why he stole Sami Zayn’s moment at NXT TakeOver: R Evolution, after he already had his earlier in the night. Owens said that Zayn had his moment when he won the title.
Renee continued to push the question though, wondering how he could do what he did to his lifelong friend. Owens corrected her and said that he’s been alive for 30 years, and he’s only known Zayn for 12, so he’s not sure where she got her math from.
Owens then walked away, telling Renee that if she thinks he stole something, maybe he should just leave.
