The Ascension vs. Hideo Itami and Finn Balor

This match started with the act that we’ve seen from Itami and Balor before, with them dominating The Ascension in opposite corners, then running across the ring for the big dropkicks, but this time The Ascension rolled out of the way of the dropkicks, as they went to the outside and regrouped.

Balor started the match, and he was in complete control, until Viktor hit him with a big uppercut, as he went for a springboard move, knocking him down to the floor, hitting the apron on the way down.

After that, The Ascension completely picked Balor apart, until he pulled out a Pele, and was able to get to his corner and tag in Itami.

Itami used his “kick” style to dominate the hot tag, and even pulled out a nifty move where he stood on the ropes and held Viktor’s head, then did a tornado DDT motion, but it caused Viktor to guillotine on the top rope.

Itami teased another GTS, but Viktor was able to get free from it, and Itami followed with a spinning roundhouse kick for the win.

Itami and Balor defeat The Ascension via pinfall.

3.5 out of 5 stars – I just want Balor and Itami to main event WrestleMania this year, in a tag team match, because they’re awesome and tag team wrestling is awesome, and they’re really good at it.
