Cracking the Top 10

10 – Bray Wyatt – Wyatt and Dean Ambrose are currently in a very gimmick centered feud that will come to an end on Monday with an Ambulance match. Based on the rumors, it seems like Wyatt could be coming out on top of this. However, since we’re not factoring rumors into this, it should be noted that Ambrose has benefited for a good chunk of this feud. If Wyatt facing The Undertaker at WM becomes a reality, he’s going to skyrocket up this list.

9 – Dean Ambrose – As mentioned above, him and Wyatt are in a very gimmicky feud that will end next week. While there is some direction that Wyatt could go in, that’s not the case for Ambrose. WWE will give him something to do for Royal Rumble, but he needs to be involved at WrestleMania 31. Hopefully they’re developing something for him so his spot on the upper-card stays in-tact.

8 – Ryback – The Big Guy is ahead of Ambrose and Wyatt? Ryback is getting great crowd reactions at every show. Everyone loves chanting “Feed Me More!” Plus, he plays a babyface character so much better than he played his heel role. He’s a likable guy, as you saw by his shoot promo. Many criticized parts of it, but it felt like his real coming out party to the WWE Universe that he’s a top guy. He’s not expected to win the Royal Rumble, so his spot on the WrestleMania card will be interesting. He’ll fit in somewhere – maybe a six man tag team match?

7 – Daniel Bryan – We finally know that Daniel Bryan is healthy and will return at the 2015 Royal Rumble. If he wins the match, he will be first on the next edition of these rankings in February. If not, he’s destined to slide up the list because of how over he is with the WWE Universe. Welcome back Bryan, you have been missed.

6 – Rusev – He may be the typical foreign bad guy that WWE has replicated numerous times over the years, but Vince McMahon knows how to handle these guys. Rusev and Lana get heel heat and are pretty entertaining. They don’t have that “cool factor” like so many heels have had. They force you to nor like them and get behind the babyface that they’re feuding with.

It should also be noted that Rusev still hasn’t been pinned or submitted. If WrestleMania 31 comes and goes without him losing, it will make one full WWE year since he entered the main roster. He’s going to lose at some point, so maybe it will be WM – it just may be to John Cena.
