Inside the Top 5

5 – Roman Reigns – Like him or not, he’s the favorite to win the 2015 Royal Rumble. WWE could be making a very risky decision by having Reigns win the Rumble, since he’s not quite over with the WWE Universe and has been manufactured to be a Superstar when there’s clearly more deserving on the roster.

The wise move would be letting Reigns have his moment at WrestleManoa 32. Fans will have had the chance to sink their teeth into his character and potentially get behind it. If not, WWE has a plethora of other options.

4 – John Cena – Love him or hate him, John Cena is the #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship – again. It’s very unlikely that he wins at Royal Rumble and goes onto main event another WrestleMania. Who knows, though – anything can happen. It will depend on the status of the next man.

3 – Brock Lesnar – Lesnar is still riding high from his WrestleMania XXX win over The Undertaker. WWE decided to give him the WWE WHC, let him defend it once, and allowed him to disappear from TV until two weeks ago. He’s back now and will be throughout WrestleMania season.

Who he faces at Levi’s Stadium will be interesting. For months, speculation has been that he’ll face Reigns for the belt. However, with questions over whether Reigns is ready or not, the plan may change. Lesnar may be there without the WWE WHC if a certain Money in the Bank briefcase holder shows up on January 25.
