The last Friday night of edition of SmackDown aired this week, before the show’s long-awaited return to Thursdays.
Though the “Last Friday Night” of SmackDown didn’t feature any references to Katy Perry’s hit song, it did have Dean Ambrose teaming with Roman Reigns against Seth Rollins and Big Show, and a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
This was also the last edition of SmackDown before the new announce teams took over.
Plus, if you’re looking for a WWE-Katy Perry connection, there’s always this.
