Tyson Kidd vs. Finn Balor

Balor came out really hot with a dropkick right after the belt, then he went to the top and looked for his finisher, the flying double-foot stomp, but Kidd moved out of the way.

Balor kept up the offense, though, and he was completely dominant of Kidd, forcing Kidd to retreat to the outside multiple times, eventually catching Balor and driving him into the guardrail. Once Kidd bought himself some breathing room, he took over the match.

Kidd used plenty of holds to try and wear Balor down, but when Balor was able to escape one, he pulled out a Pele kick and got his offense rolling again. Balor brought a lot of offense, knocking Kidd to the outside and hitting him with a tope con hilo.

However, Kidd wasn’t done, and he climbed back into it and locked in a Sharpshooter. Balor seemed read to tap, but was able to get to the ropes. Kidd looked to immediately follow up with a slingshot guillotine leg drop, but Balor got out of the way.

Balor brought Kidd to the middle of the ring and hit a Bloody Sunday, then a flying double-foot stomp for the win.

Balor defeats Kidd via pinfall.

3.5 out of 5 stars – Good match. They match up well with each other.

They just seem like two opponents who should be able to go out there and have an awesome match without even trying.
