Daniel Bryan vs. Kane
Bryan came out hot, hitting a dropkick just after the bell, who was still getting some last minute advice from Triple H.
Kane over-powered Bryan early on, but Bryan came up with a quick counter and went back on offense. However, it wasn’t long before Kane was able to pull out a big right hand, while he was trapped in the corner, and just like that, the tide of the match shifted.
Bryan had a few flurries of offense, but Kane kept shutting him down.
Finally, Bryan was able to pick things up and get his comeback going, really kicking things off with the trademark turnbuckle backflip, followed by the Yes Kicks.
Bryan locked Kane in the Yes Lock and had him ready to tap, until J & J Security ran in and attacked him to cause a DQ.
Bryan defeats Kane via DQ.
Bryan was able to duck J & J, then take them out with a dropkick. He did the same to Big Show, as he was climbing up on the apron, then he ducked under a swinging briefcase from Seth Rollins and escaped up the ramp.
Bryan stood at the top of the stage, not really wanting to back down from The Authority, but knowing that he was outnumbered, until he was joined by Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
2.75 out of 5 stars – Bryan was a little slow at the beginning of this match, and Kane was a little tentative, but they both started to get it going as the match went on.
I’m really excited to see where Bryan is after a weekend of live events.
Triple H promo
A frustrated Triple H decided right there to make a six-man tag match: Bryan, Ambrose and Reigns vs. Rollins, Kane and Show.
Bray Wyatt backstage
Wyatt said that he is the cure. He said that society labels him as a threat, but a poison like him can only be contained for so long before it starts to seep out and contaminate everything.
He said it will be too late to run after he wins the Royal Rumble Match.
Pretty good promo from Wyatt, but, again, how many promos can a guy do on the same topic?
