Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins promo

Heyman said that for the first time in his career, he is scared. He said that Brock Lesnar does what he does because he’s a beast, and because he can.

He said that he conquered The Streak, because he could, and because he wanted to. He pointed out that Lesnar has nothing personal against The Undertaker, but he wanted to beat him, so he did.

He said that Lesnar did the same thing to John Cena at SummerSlam. He said that Lesnar could drop Cena on his head with 16 German suplexes, so he did.

Heyman said that none of that has been personal with Lesnar, but now things are personal. He said that Lesnar wants to get his hands on Rollins, and that he wants to F-5 “The Future” right back into the past. That is when Rollins came out.

Rollins said that he’s tired of people walking around being afraid of Lesnar, and he got right in Heyman’s face to tell him that he is the not afraid of Lesnar.

Rollins called for a new main event for the night. He said he was ready to cash-in the briefcase tonight, and he wanted to go one-on-one with Lesnar. Heyman said that Lesnar is not here, and that Rollins knows that. So, Rollins said that he would just Curb Stomp Heyman instead.

Heyman called that cliche, saying that everybody wants to beat him up when Lesnar’s not around, but it doesn’t prove anything. Rollins said that it proves he’s smart, because it takes away Lesnar’s biggest asset. Lesnar becomes all brawn and no brain.

Rollins said that he’s proven he can beat John Cena, and noted that he’s already Curb Stomped Lesnar twice. He said that, without Heyman, he will run circles in that match and he will walk out WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He asked Heyman why he shouldn’t Curb Stomp him, and just like always, Heyman had an answer.

Heyman said that The Authority have already been taken out of power once, and it could very well happen again. He said that Lesnar has a death grip on the title, and that he will for as long as he so chooses.

Heyman said that Lesnar can defend the championship, or he can protect the new champion, and that Heyman has a big say in what Lesnar chooses to do.

Heyman then walked off, leaving Rollins in serious thought.

This was a fantastic promo. Heyman is Heyman, and he is probably the best talker in the entire business. Rollins, on the other hand, continues to prove that he should be the future, and that he is deserving of the top spot.
