Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Seth Rollins and John Cena promo

Heyman tried to open things up, but Lesnar got in his face and took the mic away.

Lesnar said he’s angry and called Rollins to the ring. He called Rollins “weaselly” and gave him to the count of 10 to come to the ring, but Rollins failed to do so. Lesnar was really looking for a fight, but instead of Rollins, Triple H made his entrance.

Triple H attempted to cool the situation, but Lesnar didn’t want to hear it. Lesnar asked Triple H if he was there to talk, or if he was there to fight. The crowd popped, but Stephanie’s music hit, and she hurried to the ring with Kane and Big Show.

Stephanie tried her hand at cooling Lesnar off, but again he wasn’t too interested in hearing it. This time, Heyman jumped on the mic and suggested that The Authority handle Rollins, because if they do so, Lesnar will be happy. However, if they force Lesnar to handle it, The Authority will see their roster be decimated in Lesnar’s wake.

Rollins interrupted from the video board and mocked Lesnar, calling him two steps behind. He called Lesnar a “caveman”, and said that Lesnar should be patient, and that Lesnar will get his hands on him, right before Rollins takes the title.

Heyman said this conversation was reserved for adults, and suggested The Authority put “a leash” on Rollins.

Then, Cena, the seemingly forgotten man, came out.

Cena said the contract is signed, and they’ve already brawled with each other, but every thing will be settled on Sunday.

Cena addressed The Authority, and their plan to take him out. Cena told them to keep it up, because their attempts light a fire under Cena, giving him extra motivation to knock out Lesnar and Rollins’ teeth, helping him regain his championship.

Cena said that they used him to get rid of three Superstars, and he will do anything to get them back.

Cena mocked them a bit, then walked off, but Stephanie cut his music and called Cena back.

Stephanie called this the “turning point” in Cena’s career. She said he used to be a guy who could comeback from anything, but that he isn’t that anymore. She called Cena a liar, and said The Authority are only here because of him. She reiterated that Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan are at home because of Cena.

Rollins jumped on to what Stephanie was saying and called Cena a failure, and said that Cena will fail again on Sunday. He said that Cena should just step aside and not even try to win on Sunday.

Cena said he will beat Rollins and Lesnar on Sunday, and they don’t have to like it, but they will respect him. He tried to add a stipulation, saying if he wins on Sunday, that Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan will get their jobs back.

Triple H teased accepting this stipulation, but said that he already gave Cena that chance, and if he’s going to do it again, Cena has to offer something up.

Triple H gave Cena an offer, he would compete in a match tonight. If he wins, they get their jobs back. If he loses, Cena loses his spot in the title match at the Royal Rumble. However, it’s not Cena’s choice, it’s up to the WWE Universe, via App Vote.

An interesting opening segment.

All parties, especially Lesnar, really delivered and set up a big night.
