  • Bryan came in at number 10. He lasted 10 minutes, being eliminated by Bray Wyatt. There were no hints at a storyline for WrestleMania, no build-ups and he did not have the opportunity to show off what he can do.

Some are now wondering the possibility of Bryan feuding with Wyatt into WrestleMania. However, their rivalry from 2013 is still fresh in fans’ minds, and it would be dull to repeat it. Wyatt is also rumored to be facing Undertaker this year. Triple H is seemingly tied up with Sting. Rusev vs John Cena was teased on the Royal Rumble post-show. The title match at ‘Mania is, of course, now confirmed to be Brock Lesnar against Roman Reigns.

So what is next for the leader of the Yes Movement?

There are a few heels left that Daniel Bryan could have a worthy feud with for WrestleMania. Seth Rollins would be the best pick to face Bryan in March. Bryan has history with the Authority, as he feuded with Triple H in the run-up to last year’s ‘Mania. Both men are very technical and agile wrestlers, and they can both put on great promos. The fact that Bryan is the most over wrestler in WWE and Rollins is one of the few stars with legitimate heat means that this storyline would write itself.

    More from WWE

The popularity of Bryan could be used to put over a newcomer from NXT. If someone such as Adrian Neville were to debut on Raw a heel, they would instantly be hated for taking on the fan-favorite. It would allow a new heel character to be pushed and prove himself without any titles or any squash matches, leading to a memorable first WrestleMania for the new star.

Some names have been thrown about by fans as to who Bryan will face, although most are rather uninspiring. Sheamus is the current favorite to be his opponent. Although both men’s styles of wrestling work well together, Bryan and Sheamus have feuded numerous times in WWE. It isn’t a new or interesting idea, and one which will hopefully be nothing more than a rumor.

Who do you think Bryan will face on the grandest stage of them all? Is there anyone left who is worthy of being his opponent?
