Projecting the WrestleMania 31 Card: Part II

The Usos (c) vs. The Ascension – WWE Tag Team Championship Match

WWE clearly is investing time in The Ascension, as evidenced by their confrontation with WWE legends on the Raw Reunion last week. Having them defeat the New Age Outlaws at Royal Rumble was another positive step, too.

Now that this feud is over and The Usos are done with Miz and Mizdow, this only seems logical. You could have Cesaro and Tyson Kidd challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship, but WWE hasn’t invested enough time in them for us to believe that they’re getting a title opportunity.

The Usos vs. The Ascension would be a good rivalry heading into WrestleMania 31. It would pit two polar opposite tag teams against each other, which could churn out a great match at the biggest show. Plus, Jimmy and Jey deserve to head into ‘Mania as the champions for the work they put in throughout 2014.
