Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan promo

Stephanie welcomed everybody to Raw, but she wanted to talk about the Super Bowl. Stephanie talked about how exciting of a game it was, but also said that it came with controversy.

They talked about people being upset with the Patriots winning the game, but said that it was “best for business,” in obvious reference to Roman Reigns.

They were both really on their game, joking about being Patriots fans, and making up a “#CancelNFLNetwork” movement.

Triple H said that they had to address their controversy. He said that even though Kane and Big Show were unsportsmanlike when they got back in the ring after being eliminated, much like the Seahawks, he said he can live with that. He said he can’t live with somebody like The Rock, sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong, and getting involved in a match, when he’s not even a WWE Superstar anymore.

Triple H then got sidetracked talking about Sting, saying that the situation with Rock only came about because he allowed Sting to interfere at WWE Survivor Series, and he didn’t do much about it. He said he will address that situation at WWE Fast Lane.

Triple H returned his focus to Rock, saying that Rock might have changed the eventual outcome of the Royal Rumble Match, and that something has to be done about it.

Reigns came out and he was heated. He said that he won the match, and that nobody is going to take it away from him. He got real close to Triple H, as they shared an intense stare, before Stephanie stepped between them.

Stephanie tried to reason with Reigns, saying that his family is the reason he’s in this position, not The Authority’s.

Bryan came out and told Reigns not to let The Authority get to him, because they did the same thing to him last year, and he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX anyway. He wasn’t out to help Reigns though, he wanted to address the fact that he never lost the world title, it was an injury that did him in, and he wants to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania for the chance to get the title back.

Rollins came out next, but there was something wrong with his mic, and Raw shortly cut to commercial. When he came back, he joked about the nature of live TV, and somehow managed to come off like a jerk, because he is so good at what he does.

Rollins wanted to talk to Bryan and Reigns, saying that if anybody deserved to go against Lesnar at WrestleMania, it’s him.

Triple H announced that Bryan and Rollins would go one-on-one, tonight, with the winner going to Fast Lane, where they would battle Reigns for the right to main event WrestleMania.

Triple H and Stephanie asked if Reigns accepted that, and Bryan and Rollins took turns trying to convince him, until he finally did. Reigns said he didn’t care if it was Rollins or Bryan, he’s going to win at Fast Lane, and he’s keeping his spot at WrestleMania.

Triple H and Stephanie were on-fire early on, but the whole thing became convoluted as they were joined by Reigns, Bryan and Rollins. I think the wheels officially came off when Rollins’ mic didn’t work, which brought the segment to a screeching halt.
