Jimmy Uso vs. Cesaro
Cesaro was in control early on, as Jimmy tried to climb back into it. Jimmy got Cesaro to the outside, and hit him with a tope con hilo. However, when the match returned to the ring, Cesaro got back on top.
Cesaro wore Jimmy down, but Jimmy got back into it with some big moves, like Jeff Hardy’s Whisper in the Wind.
Jimmy had Cesaro down, and he was going to the top rope. Kidd tried to interfere, but Jey stopped him. When Jimmy went for the splash, Cesaro popped up and caught him with a European Uppercut.
Cesaro defeats Uso via pinfall.
After the match, Jey was tending to Jimmy, and Kidd caught him with a dropkick, leaving both Usos laying in the middle of the ring.
3 out of 5 stars – I really want to see these tag teams go at it over the titles, there’s a pretty good six-person inter-gender tag team match in there too.
The Miz and Damien Mizdow backstage
Mizdow was preparing some food for Miz, with Miz criticizing him every step of the way.
A producer walked up asking for an autograph, Miz said no, but the producer clarified that he was asking Mizdow, who obliged.
When Mizdow finished, Miz tore up the picture and dismissed the producer. Miz then berated Mizdow for not understanding their dynamic. Mizdow mimicked Miz the whole time, until Miz yelled at him to stop. Miz then fired Mizdow as his stunt double, but, being the charitable person that he is, Miz hired Mizdow as his personal assistant.
Miz walked off, and Mizdow looked like he might be getting ready to snap.
John Cena and Erick Rowan backstage
Cena was sitting backstage when Rowan walked up.
Rowan took off the mask and said that nobody’s ever fought for him like Cena has in the past few weeks.
Cena said that Rowan shouldn’t have been fired in the first place, and he was just doing what’s right. Rowan still thanked him, and said he would do Cena a favor, by taking care of Rusev tonight.
