Adrian Neville vs. Finn Balor – #1 Contender Match for NXT Championship

This is another fresh match-up for NXT TakeOver: Rival that’s going to be an awesome match.

Finn Balor and Adrian Neville have worked with each other before when they were known as Pac and Prince Devitt, respectfully. They put on a phenomenal display, which we should expect to see replicated tonight.

The winner of this match will become the number one contender for the NXT Championship. They will either face Sami Zayn or Kevin Owens in a future match for the belt.

I’m expecting Balor to win this one. It’s not a knock on Neville’s standing with NXT, but Balor is the fresher talent that is on the rise. He’s going to continue to do big things for however long he’s in NXT. Neville may start being transitioned to the main roster, so this may be the second instance of it (the first was dropping the belt).

Prediction: Finn Balor wins via pinfall and become’s the number one contender for the NXT Championship.
