Dean Ambrose backstage

Ambrose did a quick, mock version of SNL’s “Weekend Update” and the news was about Bad News Barrett refusing to give him an Intercontinental Championship shot, despite the face that he beat Curtis Axel, a former champion, last week, and there were reports he was beating another former champion tonight, when he took on Luke Harper.

He then talked about having Barrett sign a contract for them to have a title match at Fastlane.

Luke Harper vs. Dean Ambrose

Ambrose made his entrance with the contract in hand.

Ambrose was dominant over Harper, until he went for a suicide dive to the outside and Harper caught him, then hit him with a big boot, before Raw went to commercial.

After the commercial, Harper was still in control, until Ambrose began to use his psycho-offense to get himself back into it.

Ambrose went for a few big moves, but Harper kicked out, then he countered a top-rope dive with a superkick to Ambrose’s jaw.

Harper hit a string of big moves himself, but Ambrose ducked under the big clothesline, took Harper out with the rebound clothesline, then put him away with Dirty Deeds.

Ambrose defeats Harper via pinfall.

3.25 out of 5 stars – The crowd got really into this match, and they were firmly behind Ambrose. Ambrose is very good, but Harper can go with just about anybody.

Triple H, Kane and Big Show backstage

Triple H and Kane were talking in Triple H’s office, when Show walked in.

Kane and Show began to argue about Show knocking Kane out on SmackDown. Kane called Show out for not being loyal to The Authority, but Show said that Kane brought it on himself with his poor attitude during the match.

Triple H settled them down, but they riled each other back up again, with Show even taking a shot at Triple H for getting embarrassed by Sting last week.

Triple H said he’ll take care of Sting, but that he needs Show to take care of Bryan, and Kane to take care of Reigns.

This was just a little awkward. That’s what happens when you put Show and Kane together.

Bray Wyatt backstage

Wyatt said, “What happened to you was a tragedy,” and that it still makes him want to do horrible things. He said that respect has turned into pity, and that “it’s” coming.
