Goldust, Stardust and Dusty Rhodes backstage

Gold and Stardust were talking together, when Dusty walked in to address them.

Dusty called Stardust “Cody,” which drew no reaction from Stardust. He said they’re family, and that they need to band together.

The New Day vs. Gold and Stardust

Stardust started against Xavier Woods, and he got the offense going before tagging Goldust in to the match. Goldust couldn’t keep up the offense for long, and he allowed Woods and Kofi Kingston to take control.

Goldust struggled the rest of the way through the match, and never really got back into it.

The New Day defeat Gold and Stardust via pinfall.

After the match, Stardust hugged Goldust, then hit him with a Cross Rhodes. The first sign of Cody that Stardust has shown.

2.75 out of 5 stars – I was tempted to give this 5 stars just because of the Cross Rhodes, but I decided against it.

Roman Reigns w/ Byron Saxton

Reigns said that he isn’t thinking too much about the journey he’s on, as a whole. All of his focus is on Fastlane, where he has to battle Daniel Bryan and the Yes Movement.

He wouldn’t say that Bryan was wrong for what he did, because he took advantage of an opportunity. However, he did say that if he was knocked out of the Royal Rumble Match, he would’ve taken it like a man.

This was one of the best promos Reigns has ever delivered on his own. It was far from where he needs to be, but it was definitely a step in the right direction.

Stardust and Dusty Rhodes backstage

Dusty caught up with Stardust, again calling him “Cody,” but this time Stardust showed a little less respect.

He snapped back at Dusty, telling him that Cody is gone. He said that Dusty’s polka-dotted past, and Goldust’s bizarre career left a lot of weight on Cody’s shoulders, and now Cody is dead.

He looked Dusty right in the eyes and said he has no father.
