This Sunday, at WWE Fastlane, Paige will challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship.
There has been tension between The Bella Twins and Paige for a long time, stretching all the way back to WWE Night of Champions, when Nikki Bella used her relationship with Stephanie McMahon to inject herself into the Divas Championship Match, when Paige was defending against AJ Lee. After Nikki had a great match, Paige tapped out to AJ’s Black Widow.
After Paige lost her rematch at WWE Hell in a Cell, Nikki used help from her sister Brie to beat AJ in less than a minute at WWE Survivor Series.
Since AJ lost her rematch at WWE TLC, and has since been out with an injury, Nikki has been looking for challengers, when two rose up, in Paige and Natalya. The Bella Twins defeated Paige and Natalya at WWE Royal Rumble, thanks to them both dominating Natalya.
Now, Paige is going to get a shot at Nikki at Fastlane, and if she wins, she will tie AJ and Eve Torres for the most Divas Championship reigns of all time, three.
Will Nikki retain? Or will The Diva of Tomorrow continue to show why “Tomorrow” is already here? Rob Wolkenbrod, Jordan Campbell, Callum Wiggins, Tim Sherry, and Mike Smith have some predictions:

Rob’s Take: This one was made out of nowhere following the Royal Rumble PPV. It has had a pretty boring build, meaning that no one will likely care about this.
I’m giving the win to Nikki because at some point she needs to face Brie with the Divas Championship on the line. Ideally, that would be at WrestleMania 31. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen.
Rob’s Prediction: Nikki Bella
Jordan’s Take: The Bellas deserve some credit because their work in the ring and on the microphone have improved. But, by no means is either Bella more talented than Paige. Paige should be the Divas Champion but that will not be the outcome of this match. Nikki Bella will win this match but expect Brie Bella to turn on her sister in the near future. This would set up a Bella-Bella championship match at WrestleMania and have the folks at E! feeling some type of way.
Jordan’s Prediction: Nikki Bella
Callum’s Take: The WWE Divas Division continues to depreciate in value when compared to the great success of the women in NXT. Therefore, don’t expect this to outdo the excellent bout at Takeover: Rival, or even hope that this match will go longer than ten minutes. Nikki Bella and Paige’s feud has been the clichéd war of words over looks and catty comments that make fans lose interest in any rivalry.
They will give it a strong effort, as they are far from the worse Divas on the roster in terms of ability. Nikki plays an excellent heel and Paige will go to any lengths to impress with her skill and performance. As for the winner, I can see this going to Nikki retaining because there appear to be no clear plans for the title at WrestleMania. But honestly you might as well be flipping a coin.
Callum’s Prediction: Nikki Bella
Tim’s Take: Don’t expect the Bellas push to stop any time soon. Paige is by far the superior wrestler and performer, but Nikki’s push right now is like how AJ Lee put it, “sexually transmitted”. Look for Brie to get involved and steal her sister a dirty win. Where they go with the Bellas after Sunday is anyone’s guess. Charlotte anybody?
Tim’s Prediction: Nikki Bella
Mike’s Take: As much as I’d love to see Paige win the title, after Brie turns on Nikki, then AJ comes out on Monday’s Raw, and we see Paige defend against Brie, Nikki and AJ in a Fatal 4-Way at WrestleMania, I don’t think it’s going to happen.
I think the more likely scenario is that Nikki retains at Fastlane, then Paige gets it back at WrestleMania, in another match that features every Diva on the main roster.
Mike’s Prediction: Nikki Bella
