Wrestlemania 31: Five Bold Predictions

The Cody Rhodes character will return at or before Wrestlemania 31. 

The work of Cody Rhodes should be appreciated. Whether it was his work with Randy Orton and Ted Dibiase Jr in Legacy or his work as singles’ competitor that included the dashing Cody Rhodes, Rhodes certainly knows how to play a character.

Rhodes has excelled in his Stardust gimmick as well. When the Stardust character was first created, many within the WWE Universe were shaking their heads at the latest embarrassment that the WWE creative team produced. That embarrassment turned into raving reviews as Rhodes provided an entertainment factor with his Stardust gimmick that kept fans from looking away.

In recent weeks, Stardust has turned on Goldust, as well as his father Dusty Rhodes, and has even confessed that Cody Rhodes is dead.

WWE appears to be painting Stardust as having an identity crisis between being Cody Rhodes and being Stardust.

WWE teased the re-emergence of Cody Rhodes at WWE Fast Lane as Stardust competed with less face paint and just wrestling tights.

In the coming weeks, Stardust will continue to be conflicted with transforming back into Cody Rhodes. This should lead to the return of Cody Rhodes before or at Wrestlemania 31.
