Solomon Crowe backstage

During Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger’s entrance, Crowe hacked onto the screen.

Crowe said that last week was just an introduction. He said he’s a man on a mission and that mission won’t be complete until he’s NXT Champion.

I wasn’t too big a fan last week, but this got me interested in Crowe’s character. I think there’s a lot of fun things they can do with him.

The Lucha Dragons vs. Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger

Sin Cara and Kalisto were using their speed advantage in the early going, but Jordan eventually caught up with them and brought out the power advantage.

As is usually the case in their matches, though, Dillinger tagged in and blew it, as The Lucha Dragons were in complete control.

Dillinger created some separation, twice, and refused to tag out of the match both times. On the third time, he went for the tag, but Jordan bailed on him.

Kalisto hit Salida del Sol on Dillinger, and Sin Cara followed with a senton.

The Lucha Dragons defeat Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger.

2.5 out of 5 stars – This match actually revolved around Jordan and Dillinger, and their subsequent breakup.

Finn Balor w/ Greg Hamilton

Greg asked Balor about preparing for Kevin Owens, but Balor said he’s not. He said he can’t look past The Brian Kendrick, who is a former WWE Tag Team Champion.

There was a lot of hype for Kendrick on this show, including this promo. Kendrick is there to put young talents over, and building him up like this is a great way to make sure that’s accomplished.
