WWE WrestleMania 30 What-Ifs: Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H, Undertaker’s Streak, and More

What if Daniel Bryan lost to Triple H?
Daniel Bryan’s battle with The Authority was one of the better, if not the best underdog story line that WWE has done. Bryan defeated Triple H in the opening match of the evening, which placed him in a triple-threat for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He then ended up making Batista submit to defeat him and Randy Orton.
What if Bryan never got his WrestleMania moment, though? What if Triple H ended up defeating him to begin the show?
The number one thing that would come to mind is the WWE Universe. The tone that it would have set for the rest of the night would have been depressing and full of anger. Fans would be booing like they did during the 2014 and 2015 Royal Rumble, except with about quintuple the amount of fans in the arena.
This victory would solidify The Authority’s place on WWE shows as the all-powerful and mighty stable over Bryan, who was the beloved Superstar of the fans. Bryan’s label as a “B+ player” would be true as well, leading to fans thinking that Triple H was burying up-and-coming talent. The Game would become the monster heel again, but for all the wrong reasons in the minds of the fans.
With this victory, Triple H would head to the main event against Batista and Orton for the WWE WHC. More on that later.
