Seth Rollins and Jon Stewart promo
Rollins got the cheap pop from Newark, NJ, then shot them down. Rollins introduced footage of his appearance on The Daily Show.
Rollins said he dominated Stewart on his show, and now he’s going to prove he can do it better than he can.
Rollins threw a bunch of jabs at Rollins, starting with his job hosting The Oscars last year, and moving on to the movie he directed last year, before Stewart finally came out.
Stewart had plenty of jokes, as he called Rollins out for not earning anything, like all the great wrestlers of the past. He then turned towards The Authority, and said that they handed him everything he has. He added that when they’re done with him, they’ll just toss him aside without even caring.
Rollins eventually had enough and started to go after Stewart. Rollins got a firm grasp on Stewart, but Randy Orton’s music hit.
J & J Security looked towards Orton, as did Rollins, who took a kick to the groin from Stewart.
Orton kind of mocked Rollins from the ramp, while Stewart ran away, waving his jacket in the air and celebrating.
Stewart was hilarious here, and Rollins was a phenomenal straight man. You can get away with anything, as long as it’s funny. This was a great example of that.
Jon Stewart w/ Renee Young
Stewart gloated about what he did to Rollins in the ring, but was on the lookout for Rollins.
Renee asked if Stewart might come to the WWE after leaving The Daily Show. Stewart said that he was winded from talking, but it could happen. He then scurried off to avoid Rollins.
This angle might not be over, and that’s fine with me because Stewart is hilarious.
