Luke Harper vs. Daniel Bryan
Other than a small ray of offense, Harper completely dominated Bryan in the early part of the match.
When Raw returned from commercial, Bryan was working his way back into it, and went to start his comeback with the backflip off the turnbuckle, but Harper caught him and continued to toss Bryan around like a rag-doll.
Bryan found a way to counter Harper and lock in the Yes Lock for the win.
Bryan defeats Harper via submission.
After the match, Bryan celebrated on the announce table, while Bad News Barrett came out and stole his Intercontinental Championship title belt. Dean Ambrose came running down and tried to take it for himself, but Harper stopped him. R-Truth ended up taking it and trying to sneak away, but Harper stopped him as well. Harper walked up the ramp, holding up the title, when Dolph Ziggler came out of nowhere to hit him with a superkick and stand tall with the title.
The segment ended with Ziggler celebrating on top of a ladder, and Bryan celebrating on the announce table.
2.25 out of 5 stars – The match was very disappointing. Bryan did practically nothing before locking in the Yes Lock.
As for post-match, I hate the concept they’re going with. That being said, they chose all the right players, because this is entertaining.
Seth Rollins, J & J Security, Randy Orton, Kane and Big Show backstage
Rollins and J & J were regrouping again, when Orton walked in the room.
Orton said Rollins should be thanking him, since Orton stopped Rollins from doing something really stupid. Orton said that if Rollins wants help with Roman Reigns, all he has to do is ask. At this point, Kane and Show walked in and said they had Rollins’ back.
Jamie Noble looked at Orton and said they won’t need everybody, and Orton walked off angrily.
They’re doing a great job of building this match. It would’ve been too simple to have Orton come back and start building this match, but they’re adding another layer to the rivalry, which could payoff big time.
