Axel started an “AxelMania” chant, as he did a bunch of Hulk Hogan poses, while Cena just watched on from the corner.
When Axel was finally ready, Cena dominated him, until Axel got a glimpse of the WrestleMania sign and “Hulked up.” It did not work.
Cena hit Axel with an AA, then made him tap to the STF.
Cena defeats Axel via submission.
Squash match, but it’s nice to still be seeing Cena’s aggressive side.
Lana and Rusev promo
Lana sarcastically congratulated Cena on his “big” win over Axel.
Rusev reiterated what Stephanie said about him deciding whether or not he will face Cena. He told Cena that the answer is still, “No.”
