Triple H and Booker T promo
Triple H said that when he came to WWE in 1995, he told Vince McMahon that all he wanted was an opportunity. He said he made the most of that opportunity.
Triple H said he gave Sting an opportunity to live forever through merchandising, but he gave that opportunity up for a moment at WrestleMania. Triple H said he understands that decision, but that Sting chose to go to WrestleMania with the wrong guy.
Triple H said, after he beats him, he will make it like Sting never even existed.
Triple H talked about why Sting never came to WWE in the past, and said there are many theories, then he called Booker T into the ring.
Triple H said he heard what Booker said earlier, which is that Triple H stopped Sting from coming to WWE.
Booker said he knows Sting, and he knows Triple H. He said he knows Triple H is one to use his power and step on toes, then keep on walking. He said he might’ve done the same thing.
Triple H said Booker is like the kids on the internet who think they know the in’s-and-out’s of the business.
Booker said that Triple H can’t control Sting, since nobody could in the past. Booker said that Sting is here, and that Triple H has to deal with him, now.
Triple H talked about control, and how scary it is to not have control. He then fired Booker.
Booker walked down and grabbed his stuff from the announce table and started to walk out. Triple H stopped him and said that he’s not fired, because he thinks Booker is great at what he does. He said that the “firing” was just a display of his ultimate control.
Triple H said that he’s going to use that control to put an end to Sting and the legacy of WCW.
Triple H was great here. It was another wacky promo though, as it was just paced strangely and had no flow.
