WWE NXT: Analyzing Main Roster Potential of 14 Superstars and Divas

Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin has the look, the size, and the devastating finisher that’s known as “End of Days.” We’ve seen him use this move to destroy CJ Parker, Elias Samson, Tye Dillinger, among other jobbers.

There’s a couple of problems, however. While Corbin has shown the ability to sell, we still don’t know if he can wrestle. We heard him talk too, which somewhat took away the steam from his character too.

Right now, the NXT staff is either looking to make Corbin look as strong as possible by doing very little or he’s just not ready and they’re “hiding” him. I want to think that it’s choice A, but with no wrestling background, I’m leaning towards choice B.

If Corbin ever shows an ability to wrestle, he’s destined to be a star. WWE NXT is behind him and Vince McMahon will likely be behind him since this look is equivalent to what he sees in “his type of guy.” No matter how much Corbin improves, this may be the case.
