William Regal and Alex Riley backstage

Riley was begging Regal for a match against Kevin Owens, after Owens attacked him last week.

Regal told Riley that he can’t be a competitor and a commentator. Riley argued that Regal did both, noting that he called a match Regal had against Cesaro. Regal said he has not competed in a match since then, and that it is impossible to prepare for both.

Riley said he is still in the prime years of his wrestling career, but Regal reiterated that Riley would have to choose between the two. Riley walked away to consider his options.

We all know what Regal is capable of, but I think that Riley was great here. I think that Riley is a very talented guy, and hope he makes something of this opportunity.

Adam Rose vs. Tyler Breeze

There was a lot of comedy at the beginning of this match, with Rose playing the babyface and getting a great reaction from the crowd.

There was a short beginning with Breeze getting some offense, before a comeback from Rose.

Rose was on the offensive, when Breeze took a page from Randy Orton’s book, Beauty Shot “outta nowhere.”

Breeze defeats Rose via pinfall.

2.75 out of 5 stars – This match was entertaining, but there wasn’t all that much to it.
