Dolph Ziggler and Bad News Barrett promo

Ziggler came out and talked about losing the Intercontinental Championship to Bad News Barrett a few months ago, and how he never got his title rematch.

Ziggler announced that he would be in the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match at WrestleMania, but that something was missing, as he made some not-so-subtle references to Daniel Bryan. He began to try and bring Bryan out, but he got Barrett instead.

Barrett came out and demanded his title belt, saying he would take it if he has too. Ziggler laid the title on the mat, and got ready for Barrett to get in the ring, however, Luke Harper attacked him from behind.

Barrett beat Ziggler down, then entered a staredown with Barrett. The two were eying each other up when Ziggler got back involved and they double-teamed him. Ambrose came out to make the save.

All four men brawled, while R-Truth came out and stole the title when none of them were looking.

Ziggler was very good here, as was Barrett. Harper is playing his role extremely well, and Ambrose is really regaining his momentum.

R-Truth w/ Renee Young

Truth told Renee not to use strong words like “took.”

Truth then said he was excited to be part of the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match at WrestleMania, but he knew he needed to come up with a plan.

Truth thought that stealing the title might mean he wouldn’t have to climb a ladder, but Renee corrected him on that.

Truth immediately started looking for “Jean Ambrose,” so he could give him the title. Renee had to correct him on that as well.

Truth has been amazing throughout this storyline. I originally thought that his random involvement could signal this being a career-ending storyline for him, but maybe they saw how well he would fit. If they did, they were right.
