Kane, Big Show, Jamie Noble, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton promo
Kane said they could’ve done this behind closed doors, but that they chose to do this in public. He said they wanted to prove everybody wrong, all the people who thought Orton wasn’t really coming back to The Authority. He then officially welcomed Orton back.
Show said that he’s known Orton for a long time, and he’s seen Orton do some pretty ruthless things, including taking out his own father to get what he wants.
Noble got on the mic next, he started to welcome Orton back, but told Rollins that he couldn’t do it. He called Orton a “no-good snake,” before Rollins cut him off.
Rollins said that Noble is on his own, and he went to ask Mercury what he thinks, but Mercury’s face seemed to show that he sided with Noble. Rollins mocked them and moved on.
Rollins said that nobody thought Orton was really back with The Authority. Rollins said that they were all wrong, and Orton is back. He then listed all of Orton’s accomplishments in his career, then handed him the mic.
Orton got on and asked what happened to The Authority. Orton then ran down every single member of The Authority, saving Rollins for last, and delivering a threat that had Rollins shaking in his boots.
Orton then started laughing and revealed that he was just messing around. Kane and J & J didn’t buy it, but Rollins laughed it all off and they all left together.
This was a phenomenal promo. Rollins continues to be the best all-around performer in WWE, while Orton continued to be strong in his return.
