The Miz and Damien Mizdow w/ Renee Young
Miz scoffed at Renee calling Ryback a “favorite” for The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Miz listed all his accomplishments, and said that all he needs to do now is add the battle royal to that list. He said he can do anything he sets his mind to.
Mizdow interrupted and said that Miz shouldn’t underestimate Ryback. Miz said he can beat Ryback, and he can do it without Mizdow.
Miz told Mizdow to stay backstage during the match, and gave him a list of chores to do.
Ryback vs. The Miz
Ryback showcased his strength at the beginning, by picking Miz up and placing him on the top rope. He then hit Miz with a big facebuster, then more shows of strength, before Miz went to the outside and took over with a hangman on Ryback.
Miz used his quickness and smarts to stay in control, but it didn’t last very long.
Ryback reversed a big boot by catching it, then hit Miz with a spinebuster, Meathook Clothesline, and, finally, Shell Shocked.
Ryback defeats Miz via pinfall.
2.75 out of 5 stars – Amidst all the hate that he gets, and the love that Mizdow gets, Miz is quietly one of the best talents in WWE right now.
He’s right at the top of the list.
