As WWE looks to regain credibility amongst the Intercontinental and U.S. Championship ranks, the seven-man ladder match at WrestleMania is a make or break match for some superstars.
With the absence of many main-event talents heading into WrestleMania, WWE has been forced to place a higher emphasis on the mid-card. And, although the continued absences of the likes of Lesnar or Sting haven’t helped build hype for WrestleMania, these mid-carders have certainly proven their ability carry a televised show.
One match WWE has given a lot of air-time is the seven-man ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship between Bad News Barrett (champion), Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, Stardust, Luke Harper, R-Truth and Daniel Bryan.
While the storyline has progressed very well, one major concern is how some participants will fare afterwards. A loss could mean the demise of some but, for others, it could help them grow.
