5) John Cena (John Cena vs. Rusev for the WWE United States Championship)

Rusev already took the first installment of this match at WWE Fastlane, making John Cena the favorite in their WrestleMania 31 match.

If Cena wins, he will be the first star to successfully make Rusev tap out or pin him. While this would probably put a pin into the Bulgarian Brute’s momentum, WWE had Cena do this to Bray Wyatt last year, so it would not be terribly surprising.

Cena owning the United States Championship would be interesting. He has not held the belt in a decade when he was beginning his rise up the card. It would be a bold move of WWE’s to put the belt on Cena, which would boost its relevance immensely.

The only reason Cena is 5th here is because Rusev has been booked so dominantly. It would not be a surprise for Cena to lose to give Rusev a WrestleMania win since WWE seems to be very high on him. There is always the chance they could do a third match for Cena to get the victory at Extreme Rules. However, Rusev’s loss would not feel as significant since WrestleMania is obviously the biggest stage of them all.
