The Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt

Last year’s WrestleMania featured one of the most shocking moments in the history of professional wrestling, as the fabled Streak of the legendary Undertaker fell to Brock Lesnar. After 21 straight victories on the biggest event, the Phenom was proved mortal with his first loss, and he disappeared from sight, with many assuming that he’d never be seen again. The death of his Streak was arguably the greatest prize in professional wrestling, and with it gone, many considered that the Undertaker’s storied career in WWE had come to its natural conclusion.

Enter Bray Wyatt, a man who decrees himself the Eater of Worlds and the new face of fear. Wyatt revealed that his goal since arriving on the scene had been to usurp the Undertaker as the face of fear in WWE, and become the Phenom himself as the Deadman slowly ebbed away. Wyatt just needed the confirmation of this change, and that is why he challenged Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania so he could climb over his broken bones as he ascended to his throne at the top of the company. The Undertaker duly accepted.

This is difficult to predict for a number of reasons. The Undertaker’s return will be a great moment to behold, and so could be given a feel-good victory to please the audience. But Wyatt has so much potential to fill the shoes of the Phenom as a scary, intimidating monster, and could really use a victory here as his launching pad. That is why I’ve gone with Wyatt. Whilst I have serious reservations about how great this match will be from a quality standpoint, the Undertaker could do some serious good by putting over a hungry young superstar in his twilight years.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt
