The first edition of WWE NXT after WWE WrestleMania 31 aired on Wednesday night, with the promised main event of Tyler Breeze vs. Hideo Itami in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.
Also on this show, Sami Zayn returned from his absence, as he hasn’t been seen on NXT TV since his NXT Championship loss to Kevin Owens at NXT TakeOver: Rival. Meanwhile, Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy took on The Lucha Dragons, and Tye Dillinger went one-on-one with Jason Jordan in a grudge match.
