CM Punk vs… Anybody In The Main Event

We all know the situation. CM Punk and the WWE don’t get along. Punk was fed up with how things were going in the company. He left the WWE in January of 2014 with a bad taste in his mouth and a chip on his shoulder. The doctors mistreated him, Corporate hated him, and Vince McMahon has double standards against the Straight Edge Superstar.

Whatever. I’m going to give you a list of names: Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Kevin Nash, Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, The Rock, and Stone Cold Steve Austin, just to name a few. All of these stars left due to frustration with the WWE, boredom, more money in other promotions, or aspirations for other hobbies. And guess what, they all came back. I’m not saying that Punk is coming back to the WWE, but I wouldn’t completely rule it out. If he returns, it will not be anytime soon; we could be waiting for WrestleMania 35 at the earliest.

He is really going to attempt and try to succeed in the UFC. If it doesn’t work out for him, don’t be surprised to see him back in a WWE ring.

No one deserves a main event WrestleMania match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship more than Punk. When he’s given a worthy opponent, and the WWE takes the censors off of him, he is among the greatest heroes, and the greatest villains in the history of sports entertainment. Very, very few people that have ever been in the WWE can argue that they were great at both sides like CM Punk was.
