Ryback vs. Goldberg

So there was this bald guy, who had muscles on his muscles, displayed high intensity, and destroyed everybody in his path. This man went over 160+ matches without being pinned or submitted. His name was Goldberg, and he was well-renowned for his undefeated streak in WCW.

Does it sound familiar yet?

Back in 2013, Ryback went on a tear through the WWE roster, going more than half a year without losing a match. Not nearly as numerically impressive, but we saw the similarities between him and the former WCW Champion.

Audiences across the world chanted “Goldberg” at the Big Guy, which started internet discussions of the two facing each other at a WrestleMania.

It would be a powerful match, with a lot of clotheslines and shoulder tackles. The buildup to the match would be interesting, though Ryback might need a manager to help with promos.

In the past couple of years, Goldberg has met with the WWE about a potential return. Reports have said that he will return at the right price. I’m assuming it is a rather hefty price tag, since we have not seen Goldberg back in the squared circle.

Plus, we don’t know how much ring rust Goldberg has.
