WWE Tag Team Championship Match
Kalisto and Sin Cara (c) vs. The Usos vs. Blake and Murphy vs. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd
The WWE tag team division is always in flux, so this is as hard to speculate on as the André the Giant Battle Royal.
This match prediction banks on Kalisto and Sin Cara being a very hot act. We saw the San Jose, CA, crowd get heavily into Kalisto on Monday Night Raw. While this does not mean that this will continue, his lucha libre style will entertain the fans young and old. Cara is the perfect fit to stay with Kalisto on the tag team scene as both have the masked luchadore gimmick.
The Usos are not going to break up because it would make no sense. They are a very entertaining tag team and have a decent chance of flopping as singles competitors. Jimmy and Jey will also always be in the tag team title mix because of how great they are for these matches.
If you wanted to bet on it, Blake and Murphy should be on the main roster by next year. NXT clearly has a lot of faith in them by putting the NXT Tag Team Championship on the two friends. While they are not necessarily “over” with the Full Sail crowd, it does not mean that notion won’t chance.
Despite being the current WWE Tag Team Champions, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are the most likely team to not be in this match. How come? Because WWE’s tag team division is always in flux. A feud could be set up between these two based on disagreements where someone turns face and ends this partnership. With how these two were just thrown together, this wouldn’t be much of a surprise.
However, if they do stay together, they make too much sense to be involved in this match. They are terrific in-ring workers who would deepen the depth in this match. Plus, WWE has been going in the direction of fatal 4-ways for the Tag Team Championship, so expect it to happen for a third year in a row at WrestleMania 32.
