Rhyno vs. Sami Zayn

How great was it to see Zayn back in action? Even though this was filmed two months ago, this was the first time he wrestled on the WWE Network since February 11.

The action began slowly between Zayn and Rhyno, with the latter hitting a shoulder tackle to take advantage. Zayn then got back into it and hit a nice head scissors take down on The Man Beast.

After Rhyno took more control, these two would start battling in the middle of the ring. This led to Zayn hitting a nice drop-kick, but with the former ECW star taking control.

We get from commercial break seeing Rhyno controlling the action with a hold on Zayn, who would then find a way to get an elbow in and hit a cross-body from the top rope.

Rhyno would battle back with a big spine-buster. He continued beating down Zayn with using his power and force to get the former El Generico down.

Zayn would eventually find a way to battle back and hit his trademark Blue Thunderbomb. That move will always impress the crowd no matter how many times it is done. He would then go to the top rope for a cross-body, which Rhyno countered by catching him and throwing him down to a 2-count.

Rhyno then climbed to the second rope to try something, but Zayn hit him with an elbow, sending The Man Beast flying.

After getting back into the ring, Rhyno went for the Gore, but missed. This set up Zayn for the Helluva Kick and the victory.

Sami Zayn defeats Rhyno via pinfall.

3.0 out of 5 stars – Nice match between Zayn and Rhyno. I think we’re going to end up seeing Kevin Owens vs. Zayn vs. Rhyno vs. Finn Balor at the next NXT TakeOver in May.
