Sheamus vs. Neville

They’re now calling him “The Sensational Neville.” Please, stop the nicknames, WWE.

Sheamus begins by calling Neville a teeny tiny little man. The Celtic Warrior says he’s from the “real” Ireland and says where he comes from, they don’t like people like Neville.

Nice promo from Sheamus, who is excelling as a heel.

The match begins with Sheamus toying with the Man That Gravity Forgot, only for the latter to strike back. Neville would hit a nice dive over the top rope, but get attacked by Sheamus moments later.

We return to see The Celtic Warrior still in control in the ring.

Neville would finally get an advantage by dodging a hit from Sheamus, got went out of the ring. Once he got back in, the former NXT Champion hit a few kicks and a beautiful standing moonsault.

Neville would eventually get Sheamus into the corner and hit a hard kick to the face, which set up Neville for a Corkscrew (which the announcers have no idea what it is) from the second rope. After hitting it, Neville went back for the Red Arrow, but Sheamus was able to stop it before it happening.

Neville would then hit two inseguris, sending them out of the ring. Sheamus would pick up Neville and throw him onto the announce table, causing a disqualification.

Neville defeats Sheamus via disqualification.

2.8 out of 5 stars – Despite the DQ, this was solid and would have rated higher if there was a clean finish.

After the match, Sheamus went to beat down Neville until Dolph Ziggler makes the save. Dolph calls The Celtic Warrior a bull. However, Sheamus then creates their match at Extreme Rules with a stipulation called “Kiss Me Arse.”
