19) Bad News Barrett – WWE Intercontinental Championship (5 times), NXT Season 1 Champion

Bad News Barrett had plenty of potential coming out of the Nexus as its leader. But he has never become anything more than a mid-carder. He has solid in-ring work and can cut a good promo, but has never received a main event push. This is partly due to the injuries he has suffered over the years, most recently with a dislocated shoulder.

Despite all this, Barrett is a steady presence for the mid-card titles and somehow does not get hurt with all the losses he takes. WWE still sees something in him and given he’s only 34, there’s still a good number of years to continue his career.
