Hideo Itami vs. Tyler Breeze

Result: Hideo Itami defeats Tyler Breeze via pinfall.

Rating: 2.8 out of 5 stars

Finn Balor comes out at ringside in a suit. He’s set to face these two at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable in a #1 contender’s match for the NXT Championship.

Breeze and Itami begin things slowly. They’ve faced each other plenty of itmes so they know what’s coming between the two. Great ring psychology.

Breeze finally gets in the first real shot with a kick, but Itami fights back with a few of his own.

We come back to see Hideo mocking Breeze with a few flashy moves of his own. We get “Hideo’s gorgeous” chants. How can you not love NXT?

Breeze eventually works back with a few stomps and a hold while taunting Balor. Breeze hits a dropkick and nearly gets the pinfall.

Hideo starts working his way back with a nice clothesline and a running knee in the corner. He then hits a flying clothesline from the top rope for a near pinfall. Breeze was set up for a running kick but rolls to the outside. As he went to take out Breeze, he accidentally took out Balor.

Back in the ring Breeze went for the Supermodel kick, missed and was hit with a big kick from Itami for the win.

After the match Breeze took out Itami but Finn made the save. We see Balor contemplating attacking Itami, but Breeze comes out of nowhere with a Supermodel kick and Beauty Shot to both men to stand tall.
