Show starts with a recap of the events of Monday’s RAW, with Ambrose being added to the Main Event and eventually standing tall at the end of the broadcast having bested Rollins, Orton, and Reigns.

Barrett In-Ring Interview

King Bad News Barrett comes down to open the broadcast for an interview with the other King, Jerry Lawler. King Barrett looks mighty smug. He fits the King mold so well. Barrett talks about how there is only one king now, and it is him. Barrett continues to berate on Lawler and the crowd, calling them commoners. Lawler refuses to say “All Hail King Barrett” but before Barrett can Bullhammer him into oblivion, Ziggler comes out to make the save.

Dolph Ziggler vs King Bad News Barrett

Result: Ziggler wins by Disqualification (Sheamus Interference)

Rating: 2.3 stars out of 5 stars.

King Barrett started this match in control, constantly taunting fans and telling them to bow down to their King. Ziggler manages to get in a little offence and kicks Barrett to the outside as we head to break.

Coming back from the break, Barrett is in control with a headlock wearing down Ziggler. Ziggler manages to battle back but gets caught with Winds of Change for a close 2 count. Ziggler manages to hit the Fame-asser and take control. Immediately though, Sheamus comes out and beats up on Ziggler forcing the DQ. Barrett and Sheamus continue to beat on Ziggler until Neville comes out to make the save, setting up our next match.

A good start to the card, but nothing special from Barrett and Ziggler. Great to see Barrett making so much of his character though.
